Luckiest Girl At The Mall
It was quite the afternoon and I was so distracted I forgot to call my mother on her birthday. Sunday I attended a Philip Rickard Honolulu VIP Party where Philip revealed his new Spring collections. The jewelry was stunning on the exquisite models, Miss Hawaii 2010 and Mis Hawaii Teen 2010.
You all know I love getting together with my extended group of friends and going to business tweetups is a great way to tweet for the businesses and get them some free publicity. I’m happy to help Hawaii businesses. I feel like it’s a way I can give back to the island and help businesses in a hard economy. So imagine my surprise and how giddy I felt when my name was pulled as winner of an Antherium necklace and matching pair of earrings from one of Philip Ricards collections. Inside I was jumping up and down screaming “I won, I won!” but on the outside I was doing my best to compose myself and gracefully accept the gifts. It truely was a wonderful moment and I felt like a rock star when so many people started taking photographs of me accepting the beautiful jewelry. When I left the Ala Moana store I very much felt the luckiest girl at the mall.
